This is a permanent full time opportunity for an experienced Senior Legal Accounts clerk to join their existing team of 4 support staff. Reporting to the Director your responsibilities will include:
  • Data entry and processing of payments
  • Generating and sending invoices
  • Processing daily banking
  • Account reconciliations
  • Responding to enquiries in a timely manner via phone and email
  • Trust account management and reconciliations
  • Entering disbursements
  • Debt recovery
  • Preparing and reviewing trust account and clearing account for audit
  • Reviewing dormant matters for transfers to State Revenue Office 

You will have the following skills and experience:  
  • Experience working in legal or professional services with exposure to billable hours
  • Experience working in a similar capacity as either an accounts clerk or bookkeeper
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
