"Go to the party, dance till you drop, listen to the lyrics and love children'.

Not the words you expect to hear connected with incurable breast cancer - but that's Sweet Louise. Named for the amazingly positive woman whose breast cancer journey inspired its establishment, Sweet Louise is the only charity in New Zealand focused on improving the quality of life of hundreds of men and women living with incurable breast cancer.

While small in size Sweet Louise, sadly, has a growing number of members -- which is where you come in!

Sweet Louise needs an experienced Grants Manager to take responsibility for the effective management of their Trust and Foundation calendar to enable a growing and sustainable stream of revenue.

Because Sweet Louise doesn't receive any government funding, your understanding of the grants environment and ability to build strong relationships within it, is of paramount importance.

This is a pivotal role with both grant applications and contact management being important. For example, where some grants positions are considered as 'back office' - not so here. This role (along with all positions) has an element of 'meeting and understanding the grants audience' to learn from them to refine applications and increase success.

Working within the enthusiastic fundraising team of four who report to the National Fundraising Manager, you'll provide research, application identification, contact management and valuable insights to enable Sweet Louise to achieve cut-through in a crowded not-for-profit market.

In return you'll find your tribe among this close-knit, family friendly team and relish the edgy Ponsonby location. There's never a dull moment as the team raise funds via variety of events and initiatives - and there is no doubt that your mind, body and spirit will be connected in creating a better quality of life for those you support.

Sound ideal? Sweet Louise hopes you think so! Apply today!
