This is an exciting opportunity for an Activity Planner to join a team that goes above and beyond to the benefit of not just residents but of their team and themselves.

The Role:

As an Activity Planner your responsibilities include but are not limited to -

-         Adhere to the values and belief set by the company and be committed to going 'above and beyond' for residents and your fellow colleagues
-         Organise recreational activities that account for needs of residents, their overall wellbeing and identify barriers to ensure policies and protocols are met
-         Coordinate logistics around activities and ensure documents and forms are kept up to date.
-         Be active in reporting updates on resident's abilities and/or condition to Registered Nurses'
-         Include activities that encourage engagement between residents and the community

The Candidate:

To be successful in the role you would have -

-         A strong work ethic with the ability to self-motivate.
-         A "can-do' attitude with a sense of fun
-         Excellent verbal and written communicational skills
-         Ability to observe, reporting skills and maintain confidentiality in relation to workplace, family, employee and client matters
-         In depth understanding of aged care environment and a passion for the care of elderly residents.
-         Certificate III Leisure and Lifestyle
-         Current and full NSW driver's licence
-         Previous experience working in an Aged Care Facility
