Our client is a well-respected specialist within their Industry and close to the largest Not For Profit provider within their area of specialisation. The caring staff are focused on maximising the support and services for every client which in turn will empower their customers to be the best that they can be. They are now in another exciting growth phase and are looking for a HR Business Partner to join their People & Culture Division.

About the role:

The responsibility of the HR Business Partner is to pre-empt HR and IR needs and form strong partnerships across the business in order to provide timely advise on people management, ER, performance management, policies and procedures, IR and remuneration. Key duties will include but won't be limited to the following -
  • Proven knowledge of HR procedures, practices and any associated legislation with the ability to guide and advise line managers on such information  
  • Strong negotiation skills to achieve positive outcomes
  • Excellent relationship building and management skills across various stakeholders including internal and external
  • Proven experience in coaching, leading and educating line managers
  • Sound ability to interpret employment legislation awards, agreements and policies
  • Providing advise to staff on a range of issues including conflict resolution, leave, grievance etc

About you:
  • Tertiary qualifications in IR/HR management of related discipline
  • Strong experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in dealing with IR/ER related matters
  • Current drivers' licence
  •  Ability to travel interstate when required
