Samsung's social media team is responsible for fostering one of Australia's best social communities by developing and executing conversation worthy ideas and campaigns.

As a Social Media Content & Community Manager your role involves:
·      Helping to develop and execute social media activities and generating social media ideas to ensure Samsung is seen as an innovator in the social media industry; and
·      Increasing Samsung's engagement across social media platforms and providing support in strategic decisions. This can be achieved through analytic tools and sales data to drive the development and execution of the social media activities.

Your main duties and responsibilities would be:
·      Work with the social media lead and agency partners to develop and implement our social content strategy across multiple platforms, with a focus on the ongoing editorial schedule which includes the integration of product and marketing campaigns.
·      Be responsible for Samsung's social media editorial content calendar, ensuring content is planned in advance, aligns to our social playbook and the calendar remains updated and accurate.
·      Work with the team and agency partners to produce social content that will engage and grow our social community, ensuring content aligns to our social media playbook and business objectives.
·      On occasion, support the community team with responding to customer contacts via our social channels via the Sprinklr platform.
·      Where required, develop content (inc. attendance at Samsung events and launches) for use as part of organic and paid social media activity.
·      Daily social media monitoring to identify trends and opportunities for social content to build Samsung's social community, driving engagement and advocacy.
·      Work with the team to input into weekly and monthly reporting inc. measurement and tracking as well as insights and recommendations to optimise activity.
·      Provide recommendations regarding paid media tactics, audience targeting and retargeting strategies where required.
·      Ensure legal compliance of content that goes live on social media channels.
·      Support work on Samsung influencer and advocacy programs including activity that will provide third-party content which can be amplified across Samsung's owned channels.
·      General processes and finance duties including creating purchase orders, product orders using Samsung processes.

Production and technical support
·      Where required, ability to edit content including videos, imagery, animations and other digital content.
·      Ability to create and / or optimise content for social channels ensuring it meets quality, brand and social media guidelines.

What experience and skills are we looking for?
·      Degree in marketing, journalism or communication
·      Minimum 3 years of social media experience including management of an ongoing content calendar, strategy and ideation plus reporting and insights.
·      Work in a marketing or communications agency or fast paced in-house social media role.  
·      Ability to demonstrate considerable knowledge of the latest trends and best practice in social media.
·      Experience coordinating and planning for multiple projects and outcomes.
·      Experience with all major social media back-ends; using paid platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
·      Impeccable written and verbal communications skills.
·      Creative thinking and a customer-centric focus.
·      Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills.
·      Experience using Sprinklr or similar social platforms / tools.
·      Experience creating / producing content for social media channels inc. some technical software experience to produce creative.
