Workers Care Coordinator

people2people are working closely with the NSW Government who are seeking a Workers Care Coordinator located in Parramatta for an initial 6 month assignment.


In this position you will be responsible for providing quality case management, advice and support to internal and external stakeholders implementing a variety of return to work initiatives and claims projects.
  • Introduce return to work strategies, preparing, implementing and monitoring return to work plans and procedures to improve the Department's work health and safety performance
  • Ensure timely case management advice is provided to all internal and external stakeholders on legislation and department policies and procedures
  • Develop and coordinate reports surrounding workers compensation claims and non-work related rehabilitation programs
  • Maintain all injury management and return to work databases in line with department policy and procedures


To be eligible for this role you must have:
  • Demonstrated experience managing competing demands by various stakeholders, ensuring that high risks are assessed accordingly and in a timely manner
  • Previous knowledge and understanding of all current legislative developments pertaining to Work Health and Safety, Workers Compensation and Injury Management matters
  • Strong stakeholder communication, management and negotiation skills
