People2people are working closely with the NSW Government who are seeking a HR Officer located in Rozelle for an initial 2 month assignment.


In this position, you will rotate through all sections of the branch undertaking a range of human resources related functions and activities including recruitment, human resources, learning and development, healthy workplace strategies and human resources reporting.
  • Provide advice and services to managers and staff on recruitment processes, employment and personnel conditions, policies and procedures
  • Undertake administrative support services, including the processing of documentations, strong customer service and maintaining a high standard of confidentiality
  • Manage any telephone enquiries regarding any human resources related functions, ensuring all matters are referred accordingly
  • Maintain any project information systems and related databases including data entry and report management

To be eligible for this role you must have:
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative support in one or more human resources or related functional areas
  • Advanced computing skills in MS Office, HR information systems and TRIM
  • High level interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with a diverse group of people
  • Previous exposure within Government legislation, policies and procedures is highly desirable
