Our client, a world renowned, technology brand, is looking for a Cost Analyst to join and support the Service division.

In this modern day economy, it is imperative and vital that we are managing costs efficiently and proactively. The primary function of this role is to assist senior management with analysis, planning, forecasting, allocation and management of the department costs

Your duties and responsibilities will be:
1. Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Monitor monthly cost reduction activities and share the outcome with management and internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluate cost reduction value for each activity and update results to management.
  • Monitor Service Overhead Cost in an efficient and effective manner and raise escalations to senior management and PICs.
  •  Prepare and analyse monthly and weekly Core Parts Usage report.
2.      Service Cost Analysis and reporting for senior management
  • Report service cost trend by product division on monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Service cost analysis and determine the reasons for process inefficiency and/or ineffectiveness.
  • Prepare and provide Monthly service cost forecast for Service Division expenses.
  • Analyse cost variance between forecast and actual.
  • Provide monthly service cost KPI status to Management.
  • Undertake various ad-hoc requests from management to provide visibility on current issues by analysing and reporting on data to assist with informed decision making for business.
3.       Process review and implementation support
  • Conducting regular reviews of current cost allocation processes and developing recommendations for implementing solutions to eliminate process redundancies and inefficiencies.
  •  Establish and support continuous process control to ensure sustainability of process improvements.
  • Adherence to headquarter guidelines and policies for monthly and quarterly service expense claims.
4.      Headquarter reporting
  • Support management for preparing headquarter/regional headquarter reports for Service Division.
  • Assist visitors with reporting and analysing SEAU Service Division's various programs and SVC Cost KPI.
5.       Ad-Hoc tasks for senior management as required
  • Assist in validating and reconciling service division invoices.
  • Undertaking various ad-hoc projects, analysing and reporting on outcomes and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Operational Support across the division, system process, and standards implementation and monitoring.
  • Control of financials following customer remedies.
