The Job
The role of Credit Officer exists to manage the ledger of customer accounts, overseeing effective collection programs to minimise bad debts and build and maintain customer relationships. This is a new and exciting role in Adelaide that has been completed from interstate in the past so is a great opportunity in Adelaide. Whilst the role is offered on a 6 month contract basis, there is great opportunity for extension and permanency so it is a great way to get your foot in the door.

Responsibilities
Ensuring customer invoicing requirements have been met
Collect customers current and overdue debts proactively
Maintain ledger and process adjustments where required
Reconciliation of rebates
Prepare recommendations for debt repayment
Archive relevant information in customer files
Prepare reports for internal business needs

About You
Demonstrated experience in debt management and collection and understanding of DSOs
Effective written and verbal communication
Great negotiation, problem solving and decision making skills
Organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
SAP and Salesforce experience preferred but not essential
Experience with high value and low volume preferred
Certificate III in Financial Services will be highly regarded
