people2people are working closely with the NSW Government who are seeking an Administration Officer located in the North Shore for an initial 6 month assignment.

THE ROLE

In this role, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient team support duties and provide Senior Administrative support to the Director. 
  • Assist with all administration duties in support of the team including booking meetings, minute taking and records management 
  • Observe and maintain complex and at times sensitive enquiries and issues, escalating these where required 
  • Maintain all incoming and outgoing correspondence for the unit, ensuring all application requests are referred accordingly and within office procedures
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining of a constructive workplace environment successfully managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
ABOUT YOU

To be eligible for this role you must have:
  • Previous experience in a similar client facing administrative role within an IT organisation is highly advantageous 
  • Demonstrated use of relevant office software systems and processes such as MS Office and MS Project 
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated skills in providing administrative support on behalf of Senior stakeholders and the Director  
  • Previous experience in a high volume professional environment with demonstrated skills surrounding time management and capacity to prioritise workload
