We are recruiting on behalf of a 50 strong boutique city law firm who specialise across high level corporate and commercial law, litigation and property. 
 
Despite being Melbourne only, they have a national client base and act as trusted advisors to some of Australia's most sophisticated and successful companies, institutions and private groups
 
This is an opportunity to work within a well-known boutique practice that deal with high-value complex matters and disputes and consult on the same calibre of matters as some of Melbourne's top tier law firms.
 
THE ROLE
 
We are seeking an experienced senior Legal Assistant to support two Partners in their high performing litigation team.

This is a prime opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant who has proven experience within litigation to broaden their experience further within a collaborative and supportive team.
 
The duties of this Legal Assistant position will include (but not be limited to):
  • Diary/travel and email management
  • Opening/closing files
  • Client liaison and management
  • Diary and email management
  • Preparation of legal documentation and correspondence
  • Preparation of briefs to counsel and court books
  • Time recording assistance

THE CANDIDATE
 
We are seeking candidates that have proven experience within a high performing Litigation team in a reputable law firm and have the desire to work within a boutique practice. 
 
On a personal level, you must also be well-presented, polished and a strong communicator. It's imperative that you are able to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.
