The Australian Cricketers' Association (ACA), in partnership with Cricket Australia and State organisations nationally, is offering eight ten-week paid sport administration internships for ACA members looking to develop their careers. The internships have been made possible through funds donated by the current players and through partnerships with state associations and BBL / WBBL clubs. The Program is a terrific example of how current players are funding initiatives to benefit fellow members and strengthen the game.
In its fifth year, the 2019 program offers a wide variety of diverse opportunities. ACA has engaged long-term careers partner Infront Sports Consulting (via people2people) to manage the application process. For the 2019 Program, Queensland Cricket is offering the following opportunity:
Queensland Cricket: Accounts Intern
This role sits in the Corporate Services - Finance team where you will have a variety of responsibilities. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with the processing of Queensland Cricket's revenues and expenses, supporting the Senior Accounts Officer, liaising with internal and external customers, working on projects for the Finance Department, and performing general administrative duties. The position will enable the successful applicant to contribute to Queensland Cricket's goal of being the leading sporting organisation in Queensland.
The ACA Internship Program is open to ACA Members - male and female, current and former players.
