Australian Cricketers' Association (ACA) Internship Program


The Australian Cricketers' Association (ACA), in partnership with Cricket Australia and State organisations nationally, is offering eight ten-week paid sport administration internships for ACA members looking to develop their careers. The internships have been made possible through funds donated by the current players and through partnerships with state associations and BBL / WBBL clubs. The Program is a terrific example of how current players are funding initiatives to benefit fellow members and strengthen the game.


In its fifth year, the 2019 program offers a wide variety of diverse opportunities. ACA has engaged long-term careers partner Infront Sports Consulting (via people2people) to manage the application process. For the 2019 Program, Cricket ACT is offering the following opportunity:


 


Cricket ACT: Community Cricket Intern

The successful applicant will assist the Community Cricket Department in coordinating and delivering entry-level and school-based programs. You will also assist with the maintaining of databases, running information sessions, and various project management. The successful intern will receive professional development opportunities throughout the internship, as well as gaining valuable sports industry experience with internal and external stakeholders.
 


 


The ACA Internship Program is open to ACA Members - male and female, current and former players.

Placements can be completed full or part-time, in-season or during the off-season, with flexibility around training, playing and other commitments.
