The Australian Cricketers' Association (ACA), in partnership with Cricket Australia and State organisations nationally, is offering eight ten-week paid sport administration internships for ACA members looking to develop their careers. The internships have been made possible through funds donated by the current players and through partnerships with state associations and BBL / WBBL clubs. The Program is a terrific example of how current players are funding initiatives to benefit fellow members and strengthen the game.
In its fifth year, the 2019 program offers a wide variety of diverse opportunities. ACA have engaged long-term careers partner Infront Sports Consulting (via people2people) to manage the application process. For the 2019 Program, SACA is offering the following opportunity:
South Australian Cricket Association (SACA): Community Cricket Intern
Working in the Community Cricket Department and reporting to the Field Force Manager, you will be required to assist with the teams day to day operations. Your responsibilities will focus on competitions, carnival and event provision, the delivery of community cricket activities, and administrative and project management support. This is a great opportunity to play a crucial role in the rollout of SACA's operational strategies and key outcomes.
The ACA Internship Program is open to ACA Members - male and female, current and former players.
