Supporting our consumers to enjoy Samsung every step of their way, you as the Regional Manager will be the role model for the delivery of an exceptional customer experience, training and development of a high performing team and maximum compliance to effective operating standards.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Customer experience
 
  • Setting a personal example of exceptional customer experience for the team
  • Understanding local community and customer, actively seeks opportunities to attract new business
  • Ensures that all team members are knowledgeable, and skilled in the Samsung Customer Experience
Sales culture
  • Looks for opportunities to improve business performance
  • Sets store targets in line with business objectives
  • Manages competitive pricing decisions in line with profitability targets and brand integrity
  • Ensures sales growth and profitability across all product categories which may include contract connections, accessories, data, outrights and any other wireless mobile services on offer
  • Analysis of profit and loss, plan to develop areas of opportunities for business growth  
Operating standards
  • Effectively communicates expected operating standards to store team
  • Proactively identifies opportunities in the business , addresses OR escalates in a timely manner
  • Actively leads maximum compliance to policies, procedures and sales processes
  • Effectively manages OH & S and cleanliness standards
  • Consistently drives the use of tools available to ensure team achieve KPIs and store objectives
  • Ensures 100% compliance to all Samsung VM standards and Marketing/Branding expectations
People management
  • Interacts with team members in a positive, professional manner
  • Drives positive performance of Store Leadership team and seeks opportunities to develop roles where required (Succession Planning)
  • Improves the capability of team members through coaching, training and transfer of own knowledge and skills
  • Develops and retains a talented team
  • Manages performance issues / poor performance
  • Recognises and rewards positive performance

As the successful candidate, you will have:
 
  • Proven history in and has a passion for Technology Retail
  • Minimum 5 years industry specific sales experience or 2‐3 years of industry specific sales management
  • Experience in managing large teams of 10 or more individuals
  • Well-developed knowledge of financial skills required in managing a retail business
  • Knowledge of and ability to accurately apply pricing, Gross Profit, discounts, margin calculations
  • Understand the market and competitive landscape
  • Understanding of products from a sales & technical perspective
  • General understanding of marketing including product demonstrations
  • Well defined Leadership techniques
  • Meticulous Inventory management
  • Competent of handling Emergencies / OH&S
  • Payroll and wage management
