Support Officer

people2people are collaborating with a leading NSW Government Department who are currently seeking a Support Officer for a 3 month assignment located in either Maitland or Parramatta 


The primary purpose of this role is to provide quality service, information and assistance to client/customers on a wide range of matters
  • Respond to enquiries from external and internal clients/customers according to service standards
  • Facilitate appropriate client/customers outcomes by applying relevant knowledge, legislation, regulations and procedures
  • Provide administrative services, respond to enquiries and complete a range of processing activities with accuracy and efficiency
  • Educate client/customers on legislation, procedures, their rights and responsibilities to raise community awareness
  • Ensure all enquiries, complaints and issues are accurately captured and authorised policies and procedures are adopted for triage, resolutions, referral or escalation


To be eligible for this role you must have:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, whilst working with high volumes
  • Proven work experience at meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised and can-do attitude
