We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our team in QLD. As the Warehouse Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee 3PL warehouse operations for a global electronic company, collaborating with the headquarters to drive improvement and enhance efficiency.
About the role
You will play a key role in managing inventory in the warehouse and ensuring timely outbound delivery fulfilment. Responsibilities will include:
- Manage daily operations working collaboratively with the 3PL partner
- Act as the primary contact for b2b customers, internal stakeholders, including State Managers, to provide accurate updates and solutions regarding inventory movements.
- Drive improvement and enhancement of warehouse operations to optimise logistics and enhance the customer experience.
- Lead inventory management practices including cycle counting and inventory stock take.
- Reporting
- Drive continuous improvement.
- Work with E-commerce business to manage logistics support for marketing activities, product launches and new customer set up.
- Maintain clarity and visibility of warehouse status, enabling timely communication and swift action to stabilize the new warehouse operation rhythm.
- Demonstrated experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of modern warehousing and order picking systems and methods
- Understanding of modern warehousing and order picking systems and methods
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and time management ability.
- Effective time management/ planning skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised and well within a team environment
- You have strong leadership skills and experience in leading teams
- You have a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Advanced MS Office skills including Excel
- Strong SAP ERP experience or WMS highly desired
