We are currently working with one of South Australia’s largest suppliers to the building and construction industry. They have been in business for more than 40 years and have a fantastic reputation.
The role
We are looking for a full-time permanent Transport Scheduler, the role is working 4 days per week and responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the transport operations. The role will require you to be onsite Monday to Thursday. You will be required to start early and work 9-10 hours per days.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain transport schedules and ensure they are meeting the timeframes required.
- Coordinate drivers and transport team to ensure the smooth running of the transport schedules.
- Monitor real-time information and address and disruptions or delays in the transport schedules
- Problem solve and implement appropriate solutions to manage the transport schedule efficiently
- Ensure schedules align with transport regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of transport schedules.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to establish delivery priorities and ensure adjustments are made when necessary
You will need to be flexible with your availability and able to work a 4 day condensed working week. Ideally you will have previous experience working in a fast paced high volume transport environment and have and eye for detail and a passion for problem solving
