THE COMPANY:

THE ROLE:
Reporting to the National Service Manager, the Technical Service Officer is responsible for assisting a wide variety of customers, distributors and service teams with initial troubleshooting.
This opportunity is based at their Clayton service centre and is great opportunity for someone seeking consistent full-time hours - Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm (some flexibility in hours available)
Duties will include.
- Facilitating all inbound communications via phone/email to customers (B2B and B2C) in relation to technical faults in the product
- Identifying and advising customers on best-practice technical resolution/fixes through consultation with on-site service team and product manuals
- Identifying, communicating, and implementing process and or product improvements
- Documenting all communication through ticketing app ZenDesk (training to be provided)
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Previous experience working in technical trade such as refrigeration, HVAC, Air Conditioning, Heating or Electrician in a customer-facing capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, you can tailor your communication style between someone who is skilled in this area and someone who is not!
- Ability to accurately diagnose problems over the phone, read manuals and provide solutions to customers.
- Looking to get “off the tools” and transition into a more corporate environment, no more calls outs and overtime.
- Full Time Availability, Monday- Friday.
