THE ROLE:
An opportunity has arisen for technically orientated person with sound administrative skills and a commitment to customer service to join their busy team.
 
Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the Technical Officer is responsible for assisting a wide variety of customers and dealers with initial troubleshooting via phone and email.
 
This opportunity is based at their Clayton office and is a great opportunity for someone looking to take a step forward in their career.
 
Duties will include:

  • Facilitating all inbound communications via phone/email to customers (B2B and B2C) in relation to technical faults in the product
  • Identifying and advising customers on best-practice technical resolution/fixes through consultation with on-site service team and product manuals
  • Identifying, communicating, and implementing process and or product improvements
 
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this position, you will have:
  • The successful applicant would ideally have worked in a technical support role and or hold a mechanical/electrical/refrigeration trade qualification. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, you can tailor your communication style between someone who is skilled in this area and someone who is not
  • The ability to read and understand product manuals.
  • Full Time Availability, Monday – Friday.
