About this role

Our client is a worldwide well-known and highly respected brand in the electronics industry. With expansion to their business, we have now an opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Operations Specialist to join the team. 

This position will be responsible in supporting the execution of all HR transactions and administration within employee lifecycle under the Compensation and Benefits and HR Operations function.
 
This position will act as the escalation point for day to day HR Operations queries as well as change management lead to achieve greater efficiency in HR operations delivery across the organisation.
 

About the role:
HR Operations Delivery on Employment Life Cycle:
 

  • Provide guidance and directions to junior members within the HR Operations team in supporting HR operation deliveries such as onboarding, offboarding, probation review, employee change management, letter generation, organisation chart update etc
  • Be the escalation point in responding to internal and external HR related enquiries or requests and provide relevant assistance in line with determined process
  • Oversee and identify gaps in all aspect of HR operations processes and provide solutions by undertaking specific projects to close the gaps
  • Develop and document HR operation guidelines and policies
  • Liaising with other agencies regarding the issues related to procedures and policies of human resources
  • Provide support to the L&D team to deliver corporate orientation, on boarding, etc.
 
HR Policy Management and Execution:
 
  • Establish, maintain and update HR Policies, procedures and practices to align with legislation changes and execution of corporate policies and guidelines
  • Provide support to communicate and support managers and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in execution of policies
 
HR Operation Projects and Initiatives:
  • Provide support to the HR Business Partners and HR Operations team as required in the implementation of HR Projects and new initiatives
 
Workers Compensation and Return to Work
  • First point of call workers, insurance providers, NTDs and rehabilitation providers on all workers compensation and return to work matters
  • Actively engaging with the insurer and rehabilitation provider to assist in the effective return of injured workers to their pre-injury duties
  • Work closely with the Payroll Specialist to ensure the accuracy of employee payments and entitlements
  • Liaise with insurance and rehabilitation providers
 
Other duties:
  • Other additional HR administrative tasks as required
About you:
Essential
  • Bachelor degree in human resources, business administration or similar relevant field
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Preferable (but not essential)
  • Experience in (or exposure to) working within a global organisation
  • Experience with Workday is desirable
  • Experience with Visio is desirable
