THE COMPANY
This organisation is owned by the Victorian Government. They manage the major water, sewerage and drainage networks across Greater Melbourne, together with your local water company and council. THE ROLE
Reporting in to the HR Manager, this role will see you dealing with a variety of complex HR matters and queries both internally and externally. You will work with business leaders and the executive team daily, and will be joining a dedicated HR team of 6. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Deliver high quality People Operational Services that support all core HR processes & procedures;
  • Deliver responsive expert advice and creatively resolve complex queries relating to employment conditions, processes and procedures;
  • Work with the HR Manager to identify continuous improvement opportunities and ensure all core HR processes & procedures are repeatable, scalable and measurable with a strong focus on end-user experience;
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to the HR Advisors to ensure the provision of high-quality and timely customer-centric service;
  • Build, maintain and strengthen stakeholder relationships to ensure the ongoing delivery of exceptional People Services to required standards; and
  • Taking care of own and colleagues Health and Safety through identification and reporting of hazards and active involvement in improvement initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role, you will have true generalist experience. In addition to this you will possess:
  • Significant demonstrated generalist experience in a range of People services;
  • Significant knowledge of workplace policies and procedures;
  • Strong operational process experience and ability to track and record activity to monitor for performance and improvement opportunities;
  • Relevant experience in Employee Relations intervention and management with demonstrated ability in supporting ER case work; and
  • Superior communication skills and a high level of customer service orientation when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
