We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join a well established team, working across multiple entities for a fast growing, locally owned large company.
responsibilities
Reporting through to the finance manager and working with a junior accountant, you will take EOM responsibility across several entities, liaising with the broader finance team and people on site to ensure the accurate delivery of reporting. Your tasks will include, but not be limited to:-
- Preparation of EOM through to Financial Statement preparation
- Management and statutoru reporting
- Assist with maintenance of required registers and schedules
- Assist with acquisition accounting and onboarding
- Prepare tax obligations, IAS/BAS returns
- Assist with calculating the fair value of underlying investments and accounting for revaluations.
- Assist with audit planning and resolution of audit queries.
about you
CA/CPA qualified either a first mover from practice or with proven EOM experience in a complex business, you will be technically competent and enjoy working in a team based/ collaborative environment. You will have a strong eye for detail and describe yourself as results oriented. You will also demonstrate:-
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong character and diplomatic relationship skills
- Ability to work well in a small team environment
- Adaptability to work within a changing/ growing business
