Samsung Electronics is one of the largest technology companies in the world and a global leader in the electronics business. They are looking for a Quality Control Officer to join their team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day communication and direct reporting to HQ/Factory, fluency in both Korean and English is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Executing test on new arriving products at warehouse to monitor production quality.
- Communicating with Samsung HQ in Korea and oversea factory teams for reporting result & investigating further.
- Arranging spare parts and repairing faulty units.
- Organising rework plan, tools, & spare parts with oversea HQ and factory team to manage & execute necessary product rework in the warehouse.
- Managing and overseeing other state rework progress
- Follow up with factory to improve the product quality issues as identified.
- Report daily result to management as well as HQ in regard to Product test results
- Direct communication with HQ team daily
- Arrange shipment of requested units/parts to HQ or factory as requested.
- On Occasion visit customer to check urgent market issues as requested by HQ or WG tech team and submit reports.
- Ad Hoc duties and projects as required
- Bi-lingual in Korean and English is mandatory.
- 2-3 years experience in a technical or quality control role
- Advanced level computing skills - Microsoft Office especially Excel/Power point
- SAP experience desired
- Strong attention to detail - Reporting Skill
