Th e Role
- Operating in a standalone role, you will be responsible for managing a payroll of circa 300 employees across fortnightly and monthly pay runs
- Reconciling and processing payroll tax and superannuation
- Processing new starters, terminations and workers compensation
- Providing support to HR team in relation to special projects and reports
- Liaising with staff to resolve payroll queries and issues
Your Skills
- You will either come with previous experience managing a payroll of a similar size in a standalone role (preferred) or you will be looking to take a step up from a team-based role
- It is desirable that you have previously used MicrOpay Meridian. However, the business is prepared to train a new hire on this system
- Ability to deliver accurate results under pressure and meet deadlines
- You are genuinely seeking a part time (30 hours) permanent opportunity
