- THE ROLE
- You can expect to support up to 3 attorneys within a specialised patent practice group.
- Duties of this Patent Assistant will include (but are not limited to):
- Producing compliance documents
- Matter management including opening/closing files and billing
- Dictation and document amendments
- WIP and Client Matter reporting
- Processing expense claims and petty cash management
- ABOUT YOU
- We are looking for candidates who have had previous legal assistant experience and a genuine interest in Intellectual Property.
- You will have strong communication skills and a high attention to detail. You are an intermediate to advanced user of MS Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel skills and this will ensure you are able to hit the ground running in this busy role.
- Due to the style of work we are looking for applicants that have a minimum typing speed of 65wpm with a high level of accuracy. In addition, you will have good judgement and problem-solving abilities which you have used whilst supporting senior fee earners.
