About this role

Our client is a worldwide well-known and highly respected brand in the electronics industry. With expansion to their business, we have now an opportunity for an Open Channel Sales Team Intern to join the team. 


About the role:

The Order Management Officer, is responsible for supporting the order management team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Order Support
    • Answering and attending to inbound calls from customers in response to order queries e.g. order status, ETA’s.
    • Responding to internal and external customer queries in a professional and timely manner
    • Processing customer orders accurately within the set KPIs
    • Through understanding of EDI customers and process
    • Liase with internal Logistics team to follow up customer deliveries where necessary
    • Troubeshooting order processing issues with relevant parties and ensure that they are followed up in a timely manner
    • Adhoc tasks as requested by internal and external customers such as reporting, invoice and POD retrieval requests
    • Adherence at all times to Company Policies and Procedures
  • Allocations
    • Managing stock allocation in line with weekly forecasts in order to meet weekly and month revenue targets
    • Daily monitoring of backorders for all SEAU products
    • Providing up to date product information & ETA’s to all departments & Customers where necessary
    • Managing backorders in line with Sales forecasts and targets
    • Monitoring on hand and in-transit stock for sales target achievement
    • Support to SCM in providing estimated weekly sales and clearance of aged stock
    • Providing sales reports for Account Manager’s and State Managers when required
    • Management of incoming and on hand stock to ensure that catalogue, promotional stock commitments are filled

About You:
  • Relevant Univeristy Degree 
  • Good use of Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • A passion to achieve targets
