THE ROLE
This highly regarded law firm is currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join their Family Law team. Your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Preparing and editing documents and correspondence;
- Liaising with clients and key stakeholders;
- Assisting with telephone and email inquiries;
- Data entry and report production;
- Billing matters monthly;
- Ad hoc administration and projects; and
- Opening and closing of files including conflict searches.
This role is suited to candidates who have proven experience as a Legal Assistant within Family Law. To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Excellent administration and organisational skills;
- Confidence in dealing with people at all levels and maintain strong working relationships;
- Intermediate MS Office and advanced computer skills;
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail; and
- Be highly motivated and have a mature, self-confident manner.
