The business is seeking a new Head of Payroll to drive the performance of a highly profitable division to a new level of success.
The Role
- Manage the performance and development of a local team of 4 direct and 20+ indirect reports. In addition, you will manage an offshore team with 10+ indirect reports
- Play a key role maintaining client relationships (over 200 in total including Australian and international companies). You will be expected to analyse or identify commercial opportunities with existing and new clients
- Work with HR on recruitment activities and performance reviews
- Collaborate with Regional teams on process improvement projects
Your Skills
- You will have previously managed payroll teams (ideally larger than 10) at an outsourced payroll provider where you have liaised directly with clients around delivery expectations and feedback
- It is desirable that you have operated in an international company environment where you have either dealt with or managed staff in offshore locations
- Come with a commercial awareness and accountability to understand the financial implications of decisions
