people2people are working with a well-known automotive brand to assist them in finding their next team member to join a fast paced warehouse as a Forklift Driver based in there Regency Park location.
 
The role

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other equipment to move and store products and materials in our warehouse. This role is a casual position working Monday to Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm. Working as a part of a larger team you will be responsible for picking, packing, unloading, and assembly work.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts load, unload, and move products and materials within the warehouse
• Ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods, using appropriate equipment and following all safety protocols
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track products and materials within the warehouse
• Assist with other warehouse duties as required, including packing and unpacking of products, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace

• Must have previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment
• Current forklift licence and a demonstrated understanding of forklift safety procedures
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in inventory management
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items up to 25kg
