The Company
We are working with this growing mining / mining services business based in Brisbane. This division going forward will be seen as one of the flag ship businesses within this growing enterprise, as it continues to grow both organically and through acquisition. They are looking to recruit a technically strong, but commercially aware senior finance professional. They will drive the group reporting as well as navigate some of the commercial operations of the business, helping the CFO with new business initiatives. They are now looking for a Senior Accountant / Group Accounting Manager / Finance Manager to join their Head office team.

The Role
Reporting into the Group CFO, your role will be all encompassing, covering these key areas:
Production of all group month end reporting & analysis
Work closely with the CFO with the corporate reporting & consolidation (IFRS reporting)
Help drive and improve new systems, controls and processes within the business.
Liaise with the different divisional heads for group reporting issues

About You
To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following:
CA / CPA Qualified.
Practice background initially preferred but not essential.
Ability to communicate across all divisional heads, with a sound, can-do attitude
Strong technical accounting (IFRS reporting) ability with good stakeholder engagement
Drive, mentor, and develop a small but well established finance team
