The Company
A fantastic success story for this Brisbane Head Office that has seen itself grow from strength to strength in recent years. With a great team boasting some very talented accountants and extensive industry experience, there are excellent opportunities ahead in this growing mining services business. Initially a 12 month contract, this role will be key in the development of new reporting (both financial and operational) to support the business into their next growth phase.
The Role
This is diverse role reporting directly to the CFO and supporting a number of key functions of the business. There will be a strong focus on your ability to partner with both financial and operational stakeholders to drive both operational efficiency's and cost controls, with the role having involvement in/responsibility of:
- Liaising with key stakeholders about what insights they need to then develop reporting and models
- Preparation and review of budgets and forecasts in consultation
- Prepare and present KPI and management reporting for stakeholders, providing analysis and recommendations
- Business partnering with key stakeholders across ad hoc projects and reporting
- Assist in systems implementation and automation
- EOM support
- Drive improvements around automation, control and efficiency
- CA or CPA qualified, ideally you will have a background in Audit or business advisory
- A strong understanding of financial controls
- Be an absolute guru with Excel and other report building tools
- Ability to build rapport within various stakeholders
- You must possess a strong attention to detail and a drive to deliver strong results!
