This well-established and growing FMCG business has an exciting opportunity for a Cost Analyst to join the team in a role that will see you exposed across both finance and operations at a national level. Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for g and forecasting and will need to have worked in the manufacturing industry previously.

The Role
The purpose of this position will be to maintain standard costs of raw materials, packaging, machines and finished goods while delivering within crucial key deadlines and supporting the business across an ongoing drive for efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting analysis of all costs, providing variance analysis across production the production and sales proceeds
• Work with new product team to support the costing of new products
• Developing and maintaining accurate costing systems in relation to labour, production methods and material supply
• Stock reconciliations and co-ordination of stocktakes and cycle counts
• Provide analysis to leadership team identifying key cost drivers in the business, providing ongoing analysis into trends
• Partnering with the business to determine and implement process improvements, identifying ongoing risks and opportunities for the business

• Must have experience in the manufacturing industry
• Demonstrated focus on cost control and working with the business to drive operational and manufacturing efficiency
• Ability to engage and build strong relationships across the business with finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Strong IT skills with experience with Power BI highly regarded
