About the Client:
Our client is a leading provider of integrated services in Australia and New Zealand, with a proud history and a bright future. They're undertaking a large infrastructure project and are seeking a talented Contracts Administrator to join the team.
Responsibilities:
As a Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the Project Administration function for this project. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
Financial Duties:
- Raising purchase orders and subcontract orders.
- Receipt and payment processing for purchase orders.
- Collating progress claims from subcontractors on a monthly basis.
- Running reports to track project costs and obtaining approvals from relevant managers for cost codes.
- Managing suppliers and subcontractors in our financial system (JDE) - setup, updates, etc.
- Setting up cost codes (variation codes) as instructed.
- Ensuring proper housekeeping in JDE, including closing unnecessary open orders and reviewing open receipts.
- Assisting in the creation of project valuations.
- Collating data for the head contract progress claim.
- Assisting in the preparation of the monthly project report to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensuring timely payments to subcontractors and suppliers, and escalating any issues as needed.
- Assisting with the preparation of client invoices and entering them into financial systems.
- Completing credit applications for new clients and assessing credit worthiness.
- Hold a valid Australian driver's license.
- Experience in efficiently and accurately processing high volumes of documentation and data entry.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in subcontract administration, accounts administration, or accounts payable support.
