Our client is a well-established private equity business with a growing investment portfolio. Based in the Brisbane CBD and with investments located across the country, they currently have over $600M in invested capital.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their Asset Accounting Team on a full-time and permanent basis.
About the role:
- Full-function Accounts Payable and Receivable processing
- Matching purchase orders and coding invoices
- Maintenance of supplier invoices
- Processing of bank reconciliations
- Banking, receipting and allocation of payments
- Preparation of BAS for lodgement
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
- Assisting with month end reporting
- Supporting the Senior Accountant with ad hoc projects and tasks within the scope of the role.
About you:
- Demonstrated experience in the role accountabilities.
- Studying, or looking to study toward relevant Accounting/Commerce degree would be highly advantageous.
- Strong Excel skills, and ideally proficient with Xero
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines.
- You must be a team player with a positive attitude.
