About this role

  • 3 months temp with view perm 
  • Work closely with supportive, stable HR team
  • Flexible work locations from CBD, Parramatta to Hornsby 
 
Great opportunity for 2 x HR generalist to be first line of support to this growing business. With flexibility to work from a number of their sites in CBD, Parramatta or Hornsby. Working closely with longstanding HRM and HRBP to develop your HR skills further, your time will be well utilised working with variety of stakeholders to advise and coach through best HR practice. 
 
HR generalist responsibilities range from ER, performance management, policy and compliance and include such tasks as: 
  • Handling employee enquiries, concerns and complaints
  • Mediating and resolving conflicts between employees
  • Conducting investigations into employee misconduct or policy violations
  • Administering the performance appraisal process
  • Assistant managers in setting performance goals and providing feedback to employees 
  •  Developing performance improvement plans and addressing performance issues
  •  Developing, implementing and communicating HR Policies and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations 
  • Updating employee handbooks and other HR documentation 
  • Providing information and guidance to employees on benefit options and enrolment processes
  • Maintaining accurate employee records
  •  Generating reports and analysing HR metrics for management
  • Ensuring data privacy and compliance with data protection regulations 
 
 
What you need to bring to the role:
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or HR related degree 
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills with a focus on accuracy and attention for detail
  • Solid HR experience working within business groups that can demonstrate your compassion and empathy while maintaining best HR practice for the company
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise judgement, discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisation skills
  • Outstanding work ethic with a willingness to support colleagues in a variety of tasks and projects
