How did you start working in recruitment?

In 2005 I saw an advertisement for a graduate recruiter opportunity in Sydney with a new start up agency, people2people. Ten years and three desks later, I am now based in the Brisbane office responsible for developing our business support presence in the Brisbane market. This includes placing everything from kit assembly operators to EAs to beauty therapists to IT engineers! I am VERY versatile.

What's the most challenging part of your job?

Our 'product' and the fact it changes its mind!

What's your most valuable interview tip?

Smile, firm handshake, be positive, listen to the questions and DON'T waffle!

What are the main qualities you look for in a resume?

A well set out and polished CV, no spelling mistakes, and continuity.

What do you think is the primary key to career success?

Tenacity, a positive attitude and a strong team spirit. A sense of humour definitely helps. So does beer!
