The rugby league season is well under way, and people2people's Footy Tipping Competition is too! With fantastic prizes up for grabs, including tickets to the NRL grand final, our 650+ participants are at the edge of their seats, watching match results and hoping their predictions served them well each week. We introduced our first winners in a previous post. Now meet our latest weekly champions, each taking home a prize of movie tickets or a bottle of wine.

Martyn Penny

Martyn Penny has yet again struck early in the season as our weekly winner. He was a winner in March 2013 and has backed up again this week. An avid Manly supporter, he enjoyed their close win the week he was our champion, happy they could get over the Roosters following the reverse result in last year's grand final. Congratulations, Martyn, and good luck in the remainder of the season.

Hayley Halliday

You have to be in it to win it. Hayley doesn't know much about the NRL and confesses that winning round 5 of our competition was pure luck. However, when questioned by her colleagues about her tipping strategy, Hayley was reluctant to divulge her winning formula! Enjoy your movie tickets!

Tracey Cassidy

Tracey is certainly no stranger to the p2p Footy Tipping Competition, having entered it for the past few years and won in 2013. When asked her tipping secret, she laughed, as she is an AFL supporter and does not really follow the NRL. Her secret is that she copies the tips from predictions on a website. Tracey is looking forward to enjoying a night at the movies with her prize of two movie tickets. Congratulations, everyone! Good luck predicting the upcoming matches!
